Q: What is the difference between Occupational Therapy and Handwriting Tutoring?
A: Handwriting Tutoring is typically done for a short time 6 weeks to 6 months to help kiddos learn or relearn the proper way to form letters and write neater. It is tailored to your child's grade/age.
Occupational Therapy is for students that typically show slower progress in various areas (fine motor, gross motor, visual perceptual, visual motor, or sensory motor skills) that impact a student's education, attention to task or activities of daily living skills (eating, dressing, toileting, and play skills).
