An occupational therapist reviews handwriting samples, completes standardized fine motor speed test, evaluates 6 areas of handwriting ( spacing between word and letters, letter alignment, letter size, letter closure and letter overlap), alphabet letter formation from memory, letter reversal screening, handwriting speed, pencil grasp and posture. 

 Standardized tests may  include any of the following tests:

• Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration, 6th Ed, Visual Perception and Motor Coordination
•  The COMPS (Clinical Observations of Motor and Postural Skills Test, 2 Ed.)  
• The Sensory Processing Measure-2 
• Bruininks-Oseretsky  Test of Motor Proficiency
• The Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, 2nd Ed.
• The Test of Visual Perceptual Skills 4th edition
• The Jordan Right Left Reversal  Test

Jordan Right Left Reversal  Test-3rd edition

Activities include: specific program tailored to each student with worksheets, dry erase boards, playdoh, multi-sensory techniques, handwriting games

 3rd grade and up

30 minutes online handwriting, typing or cursive -call for pricing

Following an OT evaluation, sessions will be provided in your home.

Individual occupational therapy sessions via online  per hour

Evaluates child on their skills for memory recall, organizational skills, timeliness, self-control, following multi-step directions, perseverance, attention to task via parent and child interview and rating scale.

Includes 30 minute sessions that teach children the skills for memory recall, organizational skills, timeliness, self-control, following multi-step directions, perseverance, attention to task and focus better.   It has take home tools for parents and children to use in their daily life. Recommended for 3rd grade to adult.
