An occupational therapist reviews handwriting samples, completes standardized fine motor speed test, evaluates 6 areas of handwriting ( spacing between word and letters, letter alignment, letter size, letter closure and letter overlap), alphabet letter formation from memory, letter reversal screening, handwriting speed, pencil grasp and posture.
Standardized tests may include any of the following tests:
Jordan Right Left Reversal Test-3rd edition
Activities include: specific program tailored to each student with worksheets, dry erase boards, playdoh, multi-sensory techniques, handwriting games
3rd grade and up
30 minutes online handwriting, typing or cursive -call for pricing
Following an OT evaluation, sessions will be provided in your home.
