2025 Handwriting and OT Summer Packages

Handwriting Tutoring over the summer months are a great  for preventing the summer slide and improviing neatness and developing good habits while extinguishing the bad ones.    For greater success, students are recommended to have 2 times per week over several weeks for a longer lasting impact.   New students will receive a Handwriting Evaution during the first session (add $40) and then have a post test at the end of the summer to see how much they have grown.  Sessions will focus on proper letter formation,  letter size, closure, letter height, reversal, puncutation, capitalization and spacing between words.  Kids will participate in mult-sensory learning, play games, and get a prize from the treasure box for good behavior and progress.  

Sign up for  8 Occupational Therapy Individual Sessions ($80 off) when paid in advance or  5 Occupational Therapy (hour) Individual sessions ($50 off) . You select the dates and times.  They can be scheduled multiple times in one week or thoughout the summer to fit your schedule. 

 Keyboarding will help jump start your child's typing skills.   The focus will be on learning to type using individual finger movements.  Students will learn some fun finger warm ups, use therapy putty, play keyboarding games and have access to a typing program to use after the summer is finished.  

Cursive will be an introduction to the letter formation or add on to the cursive skills, your child already has.  Finger warm ups and exercises will be taught to promote cursive readiness.
